Cature Audio Issues

I am using 6.o to try and capture footage off of a DVCAM tape. The tape is in my
camera connected to the computer via firewire. When I go to capture, the video
plays fine but the audio is very choppy. I played this tape through the camera
only and it is perfect, but when playing through Premiere, the audio is
terrible. I trie other DVCAM tapes in my camera and they all play great. I
defragged, rebooted - nothing helps.

Anyone have suggestions?

Steve...Have you captured footage to Premiere from this camera before and was
the sound OK? The "other" tapes that play OK in your camera, does
Premiere capture sound OK from them? Have you used this same firewire cable
before and was it all right? Anyway just some food for thought. Also answers to
those questions and any other info you can provide will help trouble shoot your
problem.
