| Classic on Intel Macs and compatibility with ATM & ATR |

Hi there,
I will need to move to an Intel Mac soon, but would also need access to Classic
for some time to come. It seems that Sheepshaver
<http://sheepshaver.cebix.net/> could pull this off, but I was wondering
wether ATM and ATR would work in this environment.
Has anyone tried that route?
Any feedback would be very much appreciated!
Cheers Martin

Martin,
Why not just hold onto the old computer until you can fully migrate over to the
Intel?

I have zero experience with Sheepsaver, but ATM Deluxe and ATR are NOT
compatible with Classic emulation under OS X.

That's the plan, but I will definitely need access to a few Classic apps
for which an OSX equivalent does not exist.
So I'm curious to see if anyone has been successful going the
virtualization route, rather than becoming the curator of a technical
museum. ;-)

Martin,
I still have a G4 running Mac OS 9.x that I'm only holding onto until I can copy
over a bunch of font floppies onto a usable medium (CD/DVD) because I haven't
found a floppy drive that runs under OS X that can read 800KB diskettes.
That said, which apps do you need to run in Classic or OS 9? Maybe someone
around here has an idea or two.
