ATM Deluxe 4.6.1 refuses to open

Operating Mac OS 9.2. Suddenly ATM 4.6.1 (which I have been using all along)
refuses to open. Can't access fonts. Tried moving needed fonts to system folder
but didn't work.
Help I need fonts to do my job.

If you are using 9.2, is it safe to assume you haven't added any new 
apps or inits recently? If so, you can try to delete the the prefs file 
and the local font databases littered wherever you keep your fonts. I 
don't have OS 9 on my recent machines, so I cannot look up the name of 
the font files. You can also try to re-install ATM.

Please also be aware that as we move forward under Mac OS X, our recall of
troubleshooting significantly older operating systems, apps and utilities
fades.

You should also do routine system maintenance: Disk Utility, etc.

My ability to recall seems to recede with my hairline, without reference 
to the version of the OS. I'm just fortunate to have a hairline to 
recede or is that reseed. :-)
