Finding a specific font

Finding a specific font
Tue, 27 Feb 2007 10:41:20 -080
Hello.

I am attempting to locate a specific font. I haven't a clue what its name is. I
am wondering if there is a font expert out there who might be able to tell me
the name of the font if I email a PDF example.

Thank you!

If the font is text in the pdf, using Reader or Acrobat, just go to
file/document properties/fonts and any fonts that are embedded for use
will be displayed.

Otherwise, you can try:

www.whatthefont.com
upload a graphic image and it tries to analyze it

www.identifont.com
   answer a series of questions.

Or, rather than email, post a link to an image (PDF's are kind of
large; all you need is a sample as a jpeg or gif or similar image.

BTW - this isn't an ATM-related question; the adobe.typography forum
is better suited for this topic.
