I'm getting my first new machine in 6 years. I don't have it yet so I can't
just look it up in help. In XP pro I've been using the very old Font
Navigator (bundled with Corel). It works great. It seems absurd to install
such an old program into Vista. I know not to install ATM. I'm just
wondering if I'll need anything more then whatever Vista offers to manage
large numbers of fonts including very old type 1 fonts. Would it be best to
start with only with comes bundled with CS3 and add fonts in as I need them
for projects so I don't bloat the system?
Any words of wisdom on setting up a new system most effectively also
welcome.
Thanks,
Sheila

Do you subscribe to InDesign Magazine? There's an article in the current
issue on font managers for Windows and Mac.
