In AutoCAD, create an Adobe PostScript Level 1 Plus printer which plots to a
file.
Then plot the dwg using this new printer which will create an EPS
file that's a vector based high res file.
Just goto Plottermanager
Double click on Add-A-Plotter Wizard
Click Next
Make sure My Computer is selected and click Next
Adobe is listed under Manufacturer
Postscript Level 1 plus is listed under Models
and etc...
Then Open InDesign and select File|Place
Select the EPS file
