I'm encountering major issues with plotting to files: PDF or EPS. To paper it
works reasonable OK, but to file.....
Sometime text rotates 90 degrees. Text is never real text in the resulting
files, but a crappy vectorized bitmap. So I look for a good plotter
extension/layout exporter for AutoCad. My wishes:
Absolute nessecary:
- Text plotted to PDF/EPS as text! So selectable text in Acrobat Reader and
embedded fonts
- CMYK plots (not RGB)
- Polylines stay polylines (not exploded)
- Circles, arcs and spline turn into vector curves, not millions of straight
lines.
- Page sizes that have no plotter margins! I want to plot straight up to the
edge.
Highly appreciated:
- Editable page sizes (option to remove american plot sizes for example)
- Blocks turn into groups or objects
- Layers are turned into AI compatible layers
- Pen styles are turned into AI object styles
- Hatches become shapes filled with patterns
Does anybody have a good option? Illustrator does a perfect job on importin |
