Perhaps I wasn't clear. The old command wpoly created an irregular (freeform)
POLYGONAL WINDOW within which all objects were selected.
The fence option requires that one touch or traverse all objects one wishes to
select, which is quite different, and inadequate when one must select a great
number of small objects in an area.
I am seeking a selection method that permits one to select EVERYTHING WITHIN A
FREEFORM POLYGONAL WINDOW, the mode that used to be covered by the wpoly
command, which appears to be unrecognized by ACAD 2006.
