No, I think it makes me a reasonably informed user. I don't need to know the
software "inside out" to catch onto changes that were made several
versions ago.
At each upgrade, one of the things I examine in detail is the new supplied PGP
file, to see if there are any changes I need to know about. This, of course,
wopuld have revealed when this command was discontinued:
; Aliases for commands discontinued in AutoCAD 2004:
...
DDSTYLE, *STYLE
...
The new features documentation would have shown the same thing.
Far from thinking this makes me a "smarty" (an epithet I don't recall
hearing from anyone over 12), I think it's in the realm of the minimal upgrade
training that any competent user should have, namely what is different in this
version?
