Do you have Company Standard templates with predefined lines, colors and
layer etc. In all the pauperize that are used. If not I would create them
and have the bosses tell everyone to use them or else face redoing there
work, unpaid, using the company standard template. I know it sounds
draconian but if it is the only way to get everyone to sing from the same
hymn sheet.

I have a question about Generating a company CAD Standard and then
Implementing it
[sidebar: I know this topic should be placed under the "CAD
Management"
board, but any topic regarding standards don't seem to attract much traffic
like they do here]
My company is having a hard time getting organized to compile a CAD Standard
(as well as a drawing library and CAD training) and I am looking for some
success stories of how other companies went about doing it.
Our problem is that every time we get rolling, we seem to stall out for
months on end, and then we always lose face on high profile jobs because our
drawings look inconsistent. Everyone seems to "do their own thing",
everybody complains, but no one wants to do anything about it (or, the
people who are interested in change tend to bugger things up)
