Since I am new to ACAD Electrical I wanted to to do a fresh install with out any
of the pathing that the guys (well one guy thats been here forever) are useing,
so i could understand the way it was working. I unistalled every previous
versions (all vanilla cad) and started fresh. The first thing i noticed was alot
of new values in the wd.env file. Second thing i noticed was the default
catalogs and assotiated files. The new data bases have a new field value. Since
i had no previous installs of cad on my machine i could not migrate the cataloge
files that we were currently useing. I find myself now updateing the default
catalogs to inculde things we have already added. Not a big deal but it still
throws a wrench in the way we do things. I am trying to use Electrical "out
of the box" so I can train (haha) our mechanical department to use
electrical. I had our othe electrical drafter migrate the access files to
include the new fields and started to save to 2007. So far i have only had a
couple of major crashes...(i.e. cad just shut down
