What is the best Computer system I can get at an affordable
price for

Hi,

At present, I have a motherboard:Classics Series DG965ss for Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo
Video Card: ATI FireGL Radeon V3300
4 Gigabit of SDRAM 667 from A-Data
Windows XP Professional at 32 bit

I have bought those parts about a year ago and I just found out they are not
good enough to render my hi- resolution scene files with Mental Ray fast enough,
nor in good quality because they all came out with all these jagged edges.  In
addition, rendering with LOTs of translucencies is impossible.  I waited over 6
hours to render a frame at 72 dpi with 95% of the scene with translucencies and
it only gave me HALF a frame in that time frame and my video card is not reading
all the translucency settings.  It is really disappointing to me.

I am a texture artist and I model and texture photorealistically.
What kind of compatible motherboards, Intel Core Quad processors and Nvidia
Quadro video cards would help render my scenes as fast as any school's system
with good quality output at the most affordable price.  I want to spend no more
than $1000 to replace the 3 parts.  I can put a bit extra for RAM if I have to
replace that too.
