Re: Maya on Vista

I've tried running different versions of Maya on Vista.  Maya 7 runs fine, as
long as you disable desktop composition in the compatibility options for the
program.  8.5 on the other hand, worked fine until the file got just over a
megabyte, then when trying to save will give the error that the application
stopped functioning.  Doesn't do that when trying to save small files (like just
 some simple polygonal objects).  I was anticipating 2008 since it allegedly
supports "Vista Business," but since trying it today (Vista Ultimate),
it has the same damn problem.  Anyone know if 2008 is gonna be working with
Vista properly anytime soon?  Would be nice since the website s
