Re: Maya 7.0.1 on SuSE 10.2 64bits

Thanks for answering. OK, so what is is that there are packages missing in my
SuSE 10.2 ? I thought that having a later version would give me no trouble
regarding that. Why is it that SuSE 10.0 starts Maya 7 with no problem? I did
not go through any problem at all just installed Maya. Type Maya in a Shell,
bumba! there is Maya running smoothly :)

I did what you told me I went to that site and installed the package suggested.
Now I get a different message:

master:~ # maya
/usr/aw/maya7.0/bin/maya.bin: /usr/aw/maya7.0/lib/libgcc_s.so.1: version
`GCC_4.2.0' not f       ound (required by /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6)
master:~ #

I tried to install gcc 4.2 But I don't know what happen that SuSE shows gcc
4.1...
Any tip?
