hey i'm not sure that it was an OS issue, so much as it was a card issue. if
you check out the qualifications page for Maya 8.5 on Mac OS on this site, the
NVIDIA's that are avail for Mac Pro's right now both have problems rendering
shadows and showing CV's on NURBS. BTW, i also read on another forum that the
new iMac with ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT won't run Maya either.
i'm just as lost on the subject though... and am looking for the same answe |
