| Faces Disappear?!?! |

I've been banging my head on my desk for days with this one. I modeled a head in
Maya 8 for Mac in an ascii file and imported it into a file I was setting up to
model the body. In the persp view everything is fine but if I go into front or
side modes and my 2 poly planes with a file material for reference visible and
select the head the faces disappear. So if I select the verts all I see are the
verts and the lines connecting them, but no material at all. The same is true in
object mode. I know the faces are facing the right direction because I have my
back face culling on. I can't explain it |
