3d buzz is good but more about showing the tools and not always the best way to
work with them, you just have to find users that know MB and they are in short
supply :)
yeah you can do that with the additive and overrides acting like layers etc..
and its fine but trust me you will work at least 50% faster outside of story for
this stuff.. then take it to story if you must but don't over complicate the
work if you don't need to.
