the SDK is not my cup of tea but about using constraints vs. direct write, the
constraints would provide you a level of built in offset storage so you could
adjust for the data difference if needed but not sure if your talking about
directly calling the constraints in your plug in or hooking up the skeleton to
your data transform nodes.
I am sure you have looked at the other devices.. they have a "live"
mode that feeds data like keyboard/mouse etc to drive the objects in real time
and once its live.. it can be recorded with the record button in mobu.
I think you would be better off making it an input that can be exposed like
other devices and mapped to a skeleton with the relation constraints like other
devices are .. this would give the most flexibility on the mapping side... once
its recorded on to a real skeleton then your done.. rest of the built in tools
can take over.
