Nested Groups

I am trying to create a group that has other groups nested below. I can create
the group and grab the group that I would like to nest below it. When I try:

newgroup.ConnectSrc(oldgroup)

the group will not nest correctly. However, if I try to nest the new group under
the old group it works fine. I have tried ConnectSrc and ConnectDst but neither
seems to work. I am also trying a scene evaluation after I create the group but
that doesnt seem to work either. Has anyone found a way to
