Re: need ability to update through webservice

There is no case to debug WS under  Web Service Test View (or the ALSB Debug
View) but to get properly working update through WS.
I was trying to call this WS also by SOAPUI and Im also not able to do any
update (but it was clear that result should be the same). General idea of WS
says it should be request source independent so source of WS request shouldnt be
the case.

As in the docs there is example for an update at physical DS level then Im
wondering why there isnt such for WS level (as all around there is info about
possibility to do updates by WS).

IMHO something isnt OK in this situations - it looks like DOCs for product arent
the best quality or dont describe one of its main functionalities. This results
with one question - Is this product worth its price as there are problems with
docs?

PS Docs with description of how to set up example enviroment with your example
package arent the best (so I still didnt get example UPDATE XML) and for sure
this cant be the only solution for this situation (Im gonna be boring saying it
but  it should be the part of main docs).

I deeply belive we can find other way of solving this issue.
