We are using Tuxedo Version 8.1.and we don't have client,we have tpacall
between servers call.
we want to optimize our system,and have a load test these days,we encounter some
problems:
1. Tuxedo attempts to send a message to a message queue and the message will not
fit, then Tuxedo attempts to send a shorter message to that same queue
with a pointer to the rest of the message located in a file.
my question is:
if we can select a mechanism that tuxedo don't attempt to send a shorter message
to that same queue with a pointer to the rest of message located in a file,we
want Tuxedo requests can be droppe and return an error quickly,because if
message write to and read from file,the system will slow down much,and the sys
cpu is going higher and higher,at the end,the system dump.
2.when we have 300 parallel requests, system run smoothly,there is no request
block in the queue,system idle is more than 50% .When 400 parallel
requests,queue will be full quickly，and many request files write to the /tmp
directory,at this condition,system idle is about 50%.We use MSSQ,and want to
start more server process the requests,
but it does not work,the servers number from 30 to 60,the effect is the same. we
find many server are idle.We don't know why,how can we make all the servers
work?How can we improve?
By the way,the database load is not high,system idle is about 50%
