Baud rate irrelevant under Bluetooth?

Baud rate irrelevant under Bluetooth?

Under Bluetooth, is the baud rate totally irrelevant when connecting a serial
link? I note that Garmin mentions baud rates between 300 and 38400 for its GPS
10. I tend to think this could be the reason my app never received data after
successfully connecting to this GPS (alas, I no longer have access to a test
device to see if this explains that).

Correct, the baud rate is irrelevant to Bluetooth. RFCOMM uses credit for
flow control.
