experienced and highly skilled Delphi developers to join our team
immediately.
Work Environment -- The candidate must be highly self-motivated and able to
work independently in a fast-paced, AGILE-type environment. The work
includes the design and development of new projects as well as enhancement
and maintenance of existing ones (the work you will do depends upon your
skills, aptitude, and the company's needs). The CODY development
environment is highly integrated, exciting, and team-oriented. Using a
hybrid AGILE style, CODY developers work closely with project managers,
quality assurance, and designers who form tightly-knit Project-Oriented

Relocation -- Our integrated environment requires that all candidates work
at the CODY Headquarters, in Pottstown, PA (a growing region 35 miles west
of Philadelphia). Candidates must be willing and able to relocate.

Required Skills and experience:
5+ years software development experience for the Windows Operating System
Strong foundation in OOP and OOD using Borland Delphi
Extensive, varied experience in SQL databases, (ex - Oracle, Microsoft SQL
Server, Firebird). While experience with multiple databases is a plus, at a
minimum, the candidate must have strong experience with one database.
High level of knowledge and experience in network programming using Indy,
Synapse or equivalents
High level of knowledge of and experience with 3rd party component sets and
the Delphi market
High level of knowledge and experience in XML
High level of knowledge and experience in developing custom components and
support libraries
Effective written and oral communication skills
Able to work in a highly fast-paced, AGILE programming environment
Able to complete accurate work quickly and independently, without
micro-management
Attention to detail & discipline to demand nothing less than excellence of
yourself
Task-oriented, not time-oriented
Able to pass a thorough background investigation
Required Education:
BS/BA in appropriate discipline or equivalent

degree. The depth and breadth of your subject matter knowledge is important,

Experience with C#, .NET, SOAP, COM, JavaScript, CSS, HTML/XHTML, PHP, DOM
Experience with multi-tier design and development, and cross-database
development
Experience with RemObjects Software products
