Management Software market, and is looking to expand its software
development team. Customers include some of the largest energy users in
the UK spanning the Utilities, Retail, Telecoms and Consultancy sectors.

Our continued growth means that we are looking for a talented person to
join our development team based at Broughton Hall Business Park,
Skipton.  We are looking to recruit an experienced Delphi Developer to
further develop the Optima Suite of applications, work on the support
and maintenance of existing code, and liaise with customers on new
projects and provide second line technical support where required.

The ideal candidate should have the following attributes:
* Educated to degree level in a suitability related subject or relevant
experience.
* Strong knowledge of OO in Delphi 5 or above.
* SQL (ideally SQL Server and Interbase).
* Broad understanding of I.T including good understanding of Microsoft
packages. Outlook, Word and Excel in particular.
* Practical experience in software development.
* Experience with development for Windows (Win32).
* Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Ability to decompose complex problems into a number of smaller
problems, allowing very clear explanation of the task in hand.
* Proven capability and learning agility.
* Understanding of software development methodologies and lifecycles.
* Verbal, written and listening skills to communicate with users at all
levels and of varying technical ability.
* An eye for designing intuitive GUIs.

It would also be advantageous, but not essential, to have experience of
.NET, web development and Crystal Reports.
