Our company provides data collection and information systems for civil
engineering market, you can check our web site http://www.canarysystems.com
for more info. We need a remote part time Delphi developer to help us
develop our software. It's on-demand position, not a permanent one, but we
have plenty of work to be done right now, so we would keep you busy for a
while. Also there are plenty of projects in the pipe, so even though there
could be some intervals between projects, this is a long term relationship.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience
- proficiency in GUI, TCP/IP, XML, threads
- Delphi 2007
- ability to communicate in English or Russian
- ability to work with loosely defined specs
- familiarity with Developer Express Quantum Suite, Async Pro, TeeChart,
Rave Reports and Firebird is a plus
If you are interested, please reply by e-mail to this message and provide
the following:
- resume
- references
- hourly rate
- when would you be available to start working
- how many hours a week you can work for us
- working source code for the following two test programs:
1. Create simple editor for basic XML files, it should be able to open
simple XML file, show it in a tree view format, allow to add, delete or edit
nodes, move nodes using drag and drop and save or cancel changes.
2. Create simple client-server application, client application should
monitor a folder in a separate thread, if there is a file put in this
folder, it should establish TCP/IP connection to server application and
transfer file there (delete file after successful transfer), server
application should save it in another folder. Connection should be SSL
protected and compress the transferred data. Use Indy for TCP/IP
Reply by e-mail if you have any questions. Submissions without test
source code will not be considered.
With respect,
Dmitry Shapovalov

I think Team-B should remove this Ad.
Because these two programs are worth 100~300 usd in programming market.
This is very bad sample and giving smart(but cheated) reseller a good
chance to cheat programmer
In this case,
it should be just .exe ,not source code.
If they want to check coding style,
programmer just provide some sample code he wrote.
