Image processing/Bar code recognition project

We need to add some functionality to an existing application and are looking 
for some short term help:

We need an application written in Delphi 5, that will process Tiff image 
files located in a folder.  These image files will contain one or more 
scanned documents.  If the file contains more than one document, the 
application will split that file into individual Tiff files each containing 
a single scanned document.

Each document will contain a barcode.  The application will need to 
recognize the barcode, read the data encoded in it, and look up a record in 
a Firebird database.  The image file will then be stored in a blob in the 
database.

The following components will be used in Delphi 5:
1. IBX for Firebird database access
2. Tiff image processor - Envision, ImageEn, or other recommendation
3. Barcode recognition - DTK Barcode or other recommendation
