Anyone know what format iTunes uses for its ID3 tag?
I'm ripping some cd's and iTunes is including an ID3 tag but whilst ITunes &
Vista can read it nothing I have can do so.

Does MJPlayer identify the MP3 file correctly? It's a free download available
at http://www.jacobsm.com/mjsoft.htm#mjplyr
If it works, I can let you have the code that derives the track name from the
MP3 file (I'm the author).

Don't think so - on a track ripped using ITunes I get the file name, on one
ripped via Audacity I get the track name.

Wow, that sounds very non-standard. Could you post a sample iTunes MP3 track
to a website and let me have the address to have a sniff? TIA,

Unfortunately not without a lot of alterations to my website. If you email me at
this address I could email you one.
I have found something that will read them but I was hoping to be able to
automate the process of mass alteration to track number especially
