| QUERY: Borland Turbo C++ 1.01 |

Am wondering whether Borland Turbo C++ 1.01 supported C++ templates. If not,
which other future version of TC++ did? If 1.01 does support it, how much of
the C++ language does it support.

Turbo C++ 1.0[1] was released before C++ had an official standard. I think
the reference implementation at that time was CFront, and IIRC (correct me
if I'm wrong), Turbo C++ 1.0[1] supported version 2.0 of CFront. I'm not
sure on template support, it's been so long since I've read the manual. Not
many people were using Templates back then, since Borland was probably the
only compiler vendor implementing them in production-ready tool chains.

In the past I use Borland Turbo C++ 3.0 for DOS, and it's support
template... but why you work with an old release of turbo c++ ? when
It's available latest turbo c++ for windows or borland c++ 5.03 for
windows from borland site?
