Banning Free Emails

Banning Free Emails
Wed, 6 Dec 2006 15:32:37 +0000
Hey guys, I did a search for "ban gmail", ban free mail and other
criteria's and didn't find what I was looking for.

Is there anyway to not allow new users to register with hotmail, yahoo, gmail?
We are getting these trolls that

create silly email names just to join, get banned, and come back....

Thanks!

PS: Please tell me it's not going to be some sort of add-on...I hope not!

Sounds easy doesn't it... but there are FAR more free email services out there
than just gmail, hotmail/live, and yahoo... It's really a near impossibility to
ban free email services b/c there are far too many. Your best bet is to
implement CAPTCHA on register (maybe on post as well) and perform IP bans...
