| Feature Request : Allow user to "hide" themselves from Who Is Online list |

The title pretty much says it all. While the Who Is Online is wonderful for
most, some users prefer to be hidden when they logon. Something similar to what
PHP BB has would be great. A user selects whether or not they want to appear on
the Who Is Online list in their profile, and those users are then added up and
shown as "Hidden: <Total>" on the Who Is Online list.

This does exist, except the hidden Total part.
If a user edits their profile and no for Display in Member List, under site
options.
They excluded from the member list as well as the who is online list.

Good to know, thanks Tim!
Would be nice if the "hidden" total could be added to the Who Is
Online though. Maybe the CS team could add this to their to-do list?

If they are hidden why would you want to know how many?

I find that it helps an awful lot to encourage active participation in the
forums and online chats when users can see that they're not "alone" on
the site at the time.
