Hello all,

I'm new here and to Community Server.  One of my co-workers brought this up as
possible document management and knowledge base solution for our small company. 
So it has fallen to me to evaluate it and see what I can come up with.  We are
currently running the eval version on a server at work and I've been tinkering
with it for a couple days now.

One of the things I came across in the Dashboard was Manage/Create Articles. 

So I followed the link and created an article. Then I realized that I couldn't
create any tags for it (so it's not searchable) and then i realized that only
those with access to the Dashboard could actually see it.  So now I'm wondering,
what the heck articles are for?  I thought maybe they would be displayed
somewhere with a link, much like PHPNuke does.

Anyone ahve any idea what these are for?

If you're interested in using CS as a knowledge base, then you really ought to
check out the Knowledge Base Server addon.
