Personalized Discussions - Where/how is it saved?

Hi, 

 I am new to community server, and have started coding an implementation for the
Personalized View of Discussions. My question is:

- Where is the Personalized View info saved? and how do I retrieve it? I am
creating a control which lists out the Groups,Forums and SubForums in a tree
view with checkboxes. From that control I want to save the settings somewhere, I
was looking over the SDK and cannot find out exactly where the save occurs or
where it is storing the information.

Any help is pointing in me in the right direction is appreciated. Thanks in
