| Can't Import EPS Files Recently |

Only for about the last several months, people are sending me EPS files that
won't import using the PS Interpreted Filter in CD11. I get the error
message that says INVALID FILE FORMAT. Am I assuming correctly that these
EPS's are being created by a version(s) of Illustrator that is newer than
the CD11 import filters? I can send them to my MAC buddy, and he opens
them, resaves them and sends them back to me, and that works but is a real
pain b/c I have to wait for him to do it and he's a busy guy too.
Will Corel X3 open these "newer" EPS files?
Maybe it's time for an upgrade . . .

Yes, CorelDRAW X3 can open the newer falsely-labeled EPS files from
Illustrator.
