OTF font not installing into CorelDRAW 12 suite of

OTF font not installing into CorelDRAW 12 suite of applications
Thu, 17 Jan 2008 00:46:31 -080
I recently purchased the khaki family of fonts in the open type font (OTF)
format. I installed the fonts using the Windows XP font installer (done
this NUMEROUS times with other fonts, including OTF fonts). The fonts show
up in all other software programs, but NONE of my CorelDRAW 12 suite of
applications.

I tried re-installing using the Bitstream Font Navigator (v.5) and I get the
same results.

Is anyone aware of any bugs or problems installing OTF fonts?

Any suggestions for resolving my issue?

Thank you for ANY help!

It's a BFN problem, not a Corel problem. Just create a shortcut (or a
copy) of the OTF file into the Windows\Fonts directory. Corel will see
it even if BFN won't. (Pretty silly, since Bitstream is a business
dealing almost exclusively with fonts, eh?)

If you read the original post you will find that he did that already and it
still did not work! So perhaps it is not a BFN issue after all?

I have a number of open type fonts installed, which show up fine & work
in CD 12. If it is this one batch of fonts that gives you a problem, I
suspect they may be flawed, at least with respect to Corel Draw.

Right you are, and I'm sorry Treavor. Have you tried to repair your CGS
installation?
