it would help if you mention how you are currently exporting it now (when
you're getting not-so-good results).

CMX-5 (note the 5!!!) and Ventura play together very well; indeed it is
the preferred input to Ventura. CMX-5 is probably way down your export
or save as lists -- the *later* version of CMX i(with no "5") is near
the top. The later CMX may or may not work, and will always give an
annoying series of warnings which often can be ignored; CMX-5 should
work, in all cases and without warnings, CMX maintains vectors as
vectors and text as text, as well.

Ab,
I save files regularly for use in Ventura. Many contain both vector (text)
and bitmaps. I almost always use a CDR file saved to v11. If they are not
"displaying" properly in a PDF file, I'm guessing it is a setting in
Acrobat
that is causing the poor display. Do they print OK?

I agree, Paul - when I use Ventura (granted, I only have v8), I usually use
CMX5 or TIFF for my images.

Hello, I only use Draw to edit graphs and diagrams (which I save as .cdr and
import in Corel Ventura, font get nicely embedded, etc.)
But now I need to make a simple graphic: just 3 digits with some perspective
some shadow added, which has to be placed over a photograph in Ventura.
Well, it looks ok in Draw. But when I import the graphic into Ventura and
create a pdf, the digits look far from ok. The corners aren't really round,
like it's 72dpi or something.
I've tried several output formats in Draw; the result remains the same.
Can anybody help me out here; how do I handle the graphic in Draw to get the
best result?
Thanks, Ab
