I developed this macro because I use Designer 12 in place of the much
more popular and stupid AutoCAD. The only feature that AutoCAD seemed
to have that makes sense is that you could draw in real world units
1:1 and it would scale it as needed to the print file. Creating a new
scale for use off of the printed file.
Why couldn’t I do this in Corel both Designer and Draw? About the same
time Brian Davies came up with his worldscale macro. That seemed to be
the answer but it didn’t go far enough for me. I wanted to be able to
rescale the drawings (shapes in Corel).
My next thought was what if I wanted to copy parts of drawings from
another file that used a different scale? How to make them fit into
the new one?
I think this macro will do it.
