Select the bitmap and all objects except the rectangle you want everything
to go in, then go to Effects>Powerclip>Place inside container... then
click
the arrow on the rectangle. If the objects automatically get centered in the
rectangle, Undo, go to Tools>Options>Workspace>Edit and uncheck Auto
center
new Powerclip contents.

Dear All,
I have been sent a CorelDraw image that consists of a bitmap overlain by a
number of line objects. They have drawn a rectangle of an area they would
like to keep, but erase/cut the bitmap and objects outside the rectangle.
I have been able to use the erase tool but is there a way of getting a sharp
cut around the rectangle and preferably for multiple objects at one go?
Thanks for your help,
Simon

I may be missing something, but the Crop Tool seems to do what you wish for.
