| Weird problem in X3 and X4 (Select tool) |

Hi people,
I hope someone can help me with a really weird problem in X3 and X4. I
have both installed on the same computer, X4 after X3 started having
problems. When I try to use select tool to move object, it simply doesn't
work.
It gone so far, that in the end I've reinstalled the machine, but with no
prevail. I've tried every little tick box and option in Corel, and couldn't
find anything of any use. - Both X3 and X4 were reinstalled and repaired
many times, and nothing helped.
Also - proportional resize is impossible, regardless if you lock
proportion or leave it open, it still resizes in all directions.
Other than that, machine is performing perfectly on Win XP 32Bit, 4GB
RAM, Intel QUAD CPU.
Here is the video of the problem I've uploaded to the YouTube:

Everything works on other machines, any ideas?
Thanks a lot!,

Is the ALT key stuck on your keyboard? That's the only thing I can think of,
because when you hold the ALT key while dragging the corner handle, you can
resize in any proportion. Also, when the ALT key is held down, the pick tool
becomes a marquee select tool. Try a different keyboard see if that helps.

LGD, The pick tool has always been able to Marquee Select without the ALT
key as far back as version 2 that I know of and including X4. I use the ALT
key in combination with the pick tool to select objects hidden under top
objects in a drawing but you don't need the ALT key for marquee selecting.

I should have been more clear with that, when using the ALT key while using
the pick tool to marquee select, the marquee doesn't have to completely
surround the object, just touch it, and it will be selected.
