X3 was working fine till, As of about a week ago When I try to open the
program I get a error stating that:
Unable to create a DOM Document
Class not Registered
Verify that MSXML4 is installed
When I click OK I get the error:
Valid Workspace file not found at the path specified.
Then the whole thing shuts down. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the
program. But I still cannot open the program.
My os is XP and I was using Corel 12 before uping to X3

No F8 does not help I still get the same errors. Unable to create DOM comes
up 3 times then the verify error comes up.

Did you install a Windows update that might have overwritten the msxml file?

Yes
I see that I have MSXML 4 SP2 # KB936181
which was updated on 3/12/08. Should I uninstall it and reinstall? Ken
