Convert to bitmap.
Edit in Photo Paint.
Sphere effect under Effect/3D effects.

Applying lenses

I have created a small image which I would like to curve as if it is wrapped
around a ball. I tried using the Fish Eye lens but a message appeared
telling me that there were too many objects to apply the effect. So I
simplified it considerably, and it is now just one colour with no blends,
extrudes or bevels. I combined all the elements and tried the Fish Eye lens
again, but the only outcome was that my previously-grey image became white
if it was on a white background, or blue if on a blue background, and there
was no distortion at all. I couldn`t find much assistance in the Help
files, so am hoping that someone could explain how to get this (or any
other) lens to work, please.

Incidentally, I tried using the Envelope tool, but couldn`t get the right
shape.

Many thanks
Kate

I tried that, Michael, but the image loses definition too much. That is why
I am hoping it is do-able in Draw. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

I`ve worked out how to do it now, thanks. I was trying to apply the lens
effect to my image, rather than create a separate lens to place over it.
