When I send a proof to a customer, I want to send a low resolution PDF.
When I do this, I go to Publish to PDF > Settings > Objects tab > JPEG
compression type [i set to Low JPEG Quality (255)].
Is this the correct way to create a low resolution PDF for proofing? Does
anyone have a suggestion for a better another method they use?

IMO downsampling to 72 .. 150 dpi is crucial (as well as high compression,
but not too high to prevent artefacts)

Hi Steven:
Publish to PDF > PDF Style (bottom of dailogue box) > choose PDF for the
Web. This will create a low res (72 DPI) file. Remember to tick off: Objects
> Export all text as curves (so fonts won't be an issue.)
