Hello,

Is it possible to publish a PDF document using CorelDraw 9 with "live"

Web links -- an if it is, how does one do it?

here is an example of using the full http path in the link

Both this and the other PDF work most of the time in Acro reader 5, but
a bit dodgy either way

I create live links in CorelDraw 5 and Ventura 5 files the old fashioned
way. I publish to pdf by placing an eps graphic (with pdf coding
included in txt format - file is labeled *.eps but really a text file)
at the same location as the text or graphic in the coreldraw file. The
eps graphic with the coding might show up shaded in gray in the
coreldraw file, but it is not visible in the pdf file (always works
correctly when I publish to pdf using Jaws pdf creator).

I created a page in CorelDraw 5 with a link to www.corel.com and
publised to pdf (using Jaws). PDF page is at following address:

http://home.infionline.net/~atbbiker/corellnk.pdf

I also posted the coreldraw 5 file used to create the pdf file and the
eps file with the link that is embedded in the coreldraw file (the gray
shaded box when you open the coreldraw file) at following addresses:

http://home.infionline.net/~atbbiker/corellnk.cdr
http://home.infionline.net/~atbbiker/corellnk.eps

If you wish to review the above two files, make sure you save them to
your computer and not try to open them with your newsreader or web
browser. Also, the eps file is a text file with an eps file extension.
You need to open the eps file linked above with a text reader. I use
windows notepad to create and view them.

There are resources on the internet that show how to create links (for
web addresses and email addresses) in pdf documents using the method I
describe above. This works for other software also.
