I am using CorelDraw 8. I have taken a picture of a building, and I was not
standing tall enough to get the parallex of the building correct.. I want
to bring this into CorelDraw so I can stretch the top of the buildings to
match the bottom.
I have tried jpg, bmp, pdf, tif, and with all of these I get an "Invalid
Format"
I don't think I have any more options in photoshop, or any of the programs
that came with the camera software.
Is there anyone out there that can give me some help.

Why would you use Draw, a vector editing app, instead of Photopaint, a
raster/bitmap editing app. Photos/scans, things of this nature are bitmaps.

You should use PhotoPaint or Photoshop that are image editors.
In PhotoPaint it is easy.
Convert background to object.
Click until you get arrow handles. Move handles to adjust.

FWIW< sometimes, even if I have selected "import" file, when I look
to the
left, I see the "open" button instead. This might be happening to
you. I
have found that if I click in the workspace outside the page, and then
select Import, it works as planned. I don't know if this will help, but
it used to bug me no end until I realized waht was going on.
That said, I think you will have a little better results in PhotoPaint as
well, but it might help others to know about eh Import/open issue. It's
easy to tell if this is going to happen -- the button will say Open as
soon as you are in the file selection box.
