Hi,
Have been using above for years, will not now open. Get following error
message:
Corel Color Manager dialogue box
error opening C:\corel\graphics8\custom\coreldrw.cpl file.
Have tried uninstall/reinstall several times, deleted .ini in
workspace_default directory, F8 on start up, cleared everything relating to
Corel on C:
Can anyone help?
Brian

....and replace Norton with anything else. AVAst is a free Anti-virus that
plays well with others, ZoneAlarm is a free firewall that does
better than the Windows firewall and Norton's together. They're both free (both
hassle- and cost-).
Best of luck and let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the links. I have disabled NAV. The problem was not resolved. I
have been using CD8 and NAV together for more than 2 years without the
problem. I could not find any relevant info in the other link.
I have an earlier version of CDraw, 7, which loads OK but will not open
files created with version8. Can anyone cast any light on this?

A little googling for coreldrw.cpl found this:
Problem:
When trying to open Corel DRAW8 getting error:"Error opening file
Coreldrw.cpl"
Answer:
Search for the coreldrw.reg and the corelapp.reg files and double
click on them both to enter the infomation into the registry.
It couldn't hurt!
