| Draw 9 help |
 |
Mon, 26 Nov 2007 15:39:30 -050 |
I have been using Draw 9 on my laptop and main computer with XP for some
time and didn't have a problem. I recently had to send my laptop for repair
and they reformatted my hard drive. So I had to reinstall Draw 9. Now I
can't open the items under the Tools tab, like Options and Color Management.
I found this out by having to turn off color management for a printer
program.
Does anyone have any ideas as to a fix for this.
Thank you,
Karen

Hi Karen,
how very odd, ver9 is working flawlessly under XP here. Have you tried
resetting Draw by pressing F8 when you launch it? You get the option to
reset the application to factory defaults.
Cheers,

Hi! Paul,
Thank you for your help.
I just tried pressing F8 when I launched Draw 9 and I still got an error
message and then the program froze just like before.
Thanks again for trying!

Hi! Paul,
The problem is the same. I click on the tools menu then Option, there is a
flash on the screen then an error message pops up,
"An unexpected error occurred in CorelDRAW 9. Please save your current
document in another file, then quit and restart CorelDRAW 9."
When I click the ok button to get rid of the error message, the message
leaves and Draw is frozen. I have to use the windows task manager to end
task the program.
Thank you!
Karen

Hi Karen,
do you mean that the issue has got worse for having reset Draw to its
default? Does the whole program freeze or are you simply unable to use the
'Tools' menu? Sorry for sounding a little dense :o)
