If there is no way to change the "background rectangle" color, anybody
have other tricks for masking behind text to obscure geometry behind it?
I want a callout to sit on top of a line, and "block out" the line
underneath.
You know...

Always ambitious!
Thanks Roy - but my expectations are non-existent.

Particularly Betty Windsor's Birthday public holiday long weekend (at least
here in Australia!)
(We are all loyal subjects of Her Majesty - at least when she gives us a
Public Holiday :-) )

Lars,
I guess you're talking about a "real callout", eh? I seldom (never)
use
them, and I was fishing for how to change the background of any text
object. Is there a way?
