Active CGM adding arrowheads and nodes

Hi,
Having problems with Version 4 ACGMs it is adding arrowheads to the end of 
lines. The original drawing has nothing there. The cgm adds them randomly in 
different places. I have brought the cgm back into designer to get rid of 
the arrowheads and then re-export, it just adds them to other spots. There 
is also a problem with curved lines. The cgm adds nodes to the curved lines. 
When we are using a dashed line it makes it look solid because of all the 
nodes.
The source files were mainly eps. We think maybe they are the cause of the 
problem but not positive yet. The arrowheads don't appear if we redraw the 
art, but there is still the problem with the curved lines.
Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?
