My very word!! If that's your first try, then you're going to be a
great artist with a little more experience!
My I recommend a larger image size, and use the JPG export to shrink
the file size down to a reasonable size. You should be able to get a
600 x 600 pixel image to approximately 100k or less. Keep the
non-lossy image on your HD for image work, and use the compressed
image for Internet/ newsgroups.
