Thanks, Adriaan. It's really not very unusual, though, but rather is a 
pretty common graphic effect. It's not meant to be a BW or sepia photo. The 
original was a scan of a very nice BW photo, but that's a whole different 
thing. I can post the original later, if you like, but it's not really 
relevant.

I thought it would be good to see the difference you achieved using PSP. 
That can only be seen by looking at the original.
