Thanks, McG! Good to see you back :-)) I'm going to try raspberries
next time... as soon as they go on sale. They're so expensive! ;-)

Thanks, it's good to be where I can get around ok again :-))
I dunno about NY, but around here even the alleys (utility easement thru mid
block) grow an interesting assortment of berry plants. Dewberry, blueberry,
blackberry, huckleberry, raspberry and mahaw. Mahaw makes mahaw jelly only,
which tastes like Apple Jelly to the Nth degree. Oh, and the birds faves,
wild lantana. Thing is, the growth is so thick ya can't get through it.
It has literally gone to the birds :-)
Oh, I am encouraging this new (to me) species of spider to hang around here.
They are web builders, the red ones I got a while back. Great for dewdrops
;-)

You must have been going stir crazy :-( I'm glad you see you're up and
about. I've never heard of mahaw before but I'll look forward to your
spider and dew pics :-).
I'm challenging myself today - going to the arboretum with no long lens,
just a macro. This will be the day the osprey lands 5 feet from me,
I'll bet but that's OK. I haven't been there with my macro yet so maybe
I'll find something I wasn't looking for with the longer lens :)
